TRAINING PROCESS

Purpose:
The purpose of this page is to show you the steps to become a fully qualified BaboGO teacher. You MUST go through the steps below to complete your training. You need to complete the training (Step 7) within 2 weeks of being granted access to the training material below (it is for members only & you will receive an email once/if your membership is approved). You will receive one reminder to complete - if you have not completed after 2 weeks we will consider your application withdrawn. After you pass Step 7 (the evaluation), we will send you the contract to sign.
You can find the relevant pages under your member information in the drop-down menu at the top-right of the screen. You can also simply click on the hyperlinks below to take you to each page.

The Steps:

Step 1: Introduction
Watch this short introduction to BaboGO from our CEO.

Step 2: Ground Rules
Learn what you should and should not do!

Step 3: Using the App (ClassIn)
ClassIn is the teaching software we use to teach lessons. See this page for how to download it and the basics of how it works.

Step 4: Core Skills
Watch all of these videos which cover the core skills you will need to teach BaboGO. We have particular, specific methods that we want our teachers to use with the material. You won't be able to pass the final step in the training if you haven't watched these.

Step 5: Level Specific Material
This is the place for all the key information you NEED to teach our levels. You will find printable Teaching Guides with detailed information on how to teach each section; printable Timing Cheat Sheets to help you stay on track during the class, and training videos to show you how each section in each level work in practise.

Step 6: How to Interact in Lessons
This step gives you advice which will help you interact better with your students when teaching them on ClassIn.

Step 7: Evaluation
We need you to submit a video of your mock "teaching" some of our core skills for assessment purposes. This is also where you will be assigned your unit rate (i.e. pay per class). See the page for details of how to record and submit it, and the material to use in your video.

Step 8: Contract Signing
Once you have passed the evaluation, you have met the requirements to become a BaboGO Teacher. You will be sent an email with the online contract.

Step 9: Scheduling
This is where you give your schedule to us so we know when we can book classes for you. Step 9 is the last step and an ongoing one as your schedule is likely to change over time.
